Pressalit Care is very pleased and proud to announce that the Pressalit Care nursing bench for people with physical disabilities has won one of Europe's most distinguished design accolades, the prestigious German design award iF product design award 2008. Pressalit Care won the award in the category: Medicine/Health + Care.
The prize-winning nursing bench, which was developed by Pressalit Care in collaboration with the design company 3PART, will be exhibited at the iF design exhibition in Hanover, Germany, from 4th March to August 2008. During this period, around 300,000 people are expected to visit the exhibition to take a closer look at the prize winners.
Earlier this year, the nursing bench won the much-coveted Danish Design Prize 2007. In explaining its decision, the jury commended the nursing bench for combining high-tech functionality with exceptional aesthetic design.
