Maison de retraite Mont Leroux - The builders story

In 1995, Maison de retraite Mont Leroux, a nursing home in Brittany (in the northwest of France), underwent reconstruction. The project included the renovation of 146 bathrooms - where Pressalit Care provided functional solutions on all levels.

Mont Leroux already offered a high level of service and well equipped facilities. But the home administration and its director, M. Merret, knew that doing even more to improve the residents' quality of life was still a realistic goal. However, a completely new concept was needed.

Maybe some residents could handle things better than was realised. Carers could play a less prominent role. Even the room layout, especially in the bathrooms, could possibly be given a whole new design.
