In May, Pressalit Group presented the annual report for the year of 2006. A year with many interesting activities, including an introduction of a number of new interesting products, participation in several important exhibitions, sponsorship activities, and the Keep Living Award. The name and products of Pressalit Group were seen in connection with the Madonna concert in Denmark, Muskelsvindfonden’s (the Danish Fund of Progressive Muscular Atrophy) new domicile in Aarhus, and the restoration of Denmark’s oldest preserved loo seat.

For the second time in a row Pressalit Group was awarded the title B2B Superbrand. The honour goes to Pressalit Group based on interviews with 2100 Danes and 517 top executives. We are therefore proud once again to become a member of the prestigious club of Superbrand-companies. Companies that has succeeded in creating and maintaining a unique and strong brand.

Pressalit Group is a socially responisible company, and as a proof we received the S-certificate for the second time in December 2006. The official presentation of the certificate took place in May, when Marie Hansen, Manager of the Directorate General for Employment Placement and Vocational Training, visited Ry.

The Danish Crown Prince Frederik was presenting The Danish Design Prize 2007, when Pressalit Care's nursing bench for physically disabled was awarded in The Danish Design Centre.

The presentation of Pressalit’s toilet seats at the disco and music venue Train, in Aarhus, was the most creative and innovative conference of the year! This was rewarded with the prestigious “Scandinavian Meeting Planner of the Year Award”. It was the first time that the award goes to Denmark.

On March 13, Her Royal Higness the Princess Royal opened Pressalit Care’s teaching facility at Brunel University outside London. The facility delivers two fully equipped rooms with kitchen and bathroom solutions for the physically disabled, all provided by Pressalit Care. This will give the students the opportunity to have a very authentic training. The official name of the premises is the Keep Living Suite, and it provides teaching facilities for Occupational Therapy students.
