A global competitive environment, investments in new technology and acquisition activities were some of the main themes for the Pressalit Group in 2004, according to the latest annual report, publicised on 31 May 2005.
In particular, the Pressalit Care division has experienced a stable growth in 2004, with increased sales as well as focus on the acquisition of manufacturers and distributors that will supplement Pressalit Care's existing product range. The recent takeover of ESL Industries plc will serve to strengthen Pressalit Care's position on the British market.
Overall sales for Pressalit Group came to DKK 445.8m in 2004, thus increasing by 7% relative to 2004. The company employed a staff of 395 in total, and generated a satisfactory pre-tax profit of DKK 49.2m.
