Annual report 2006
In May, Pressalit Group presented the annual report for the year of 2006. A year with many interesting activities, including an introduction of a number of new interesting products, participation in several important exhibitions, sponsorship activities, and the Keep Living Award. The name and products of Pressalit Group were seen in connection with the Madonna concert in Denmark, Muskelsvindfonden’s (the Danish Fund of Progressive Muscular Atrophy) new domicile in Aarhus, and the restoration of Denmark’s oldest preserved loo seat.
With its 469 employees Pressalit Group created a turnover of DKK 555.3 million in 2006 and an EBIT of DKK 46.5 million. In spite of an increase in turnover of about DKK 15 million, this was a result that did not quite live up to our expectations. A situation caused by an integration of acquired companies that turned out to be more expensive and extensive than expected. But now the necessary changes have been made and we are once again back on track.
The annual report of 2006 is emphasizing some of the passionate souls in Pressalit Group. We hereby wish to acknowledge the human resources that make the difference in a company of Pressalit Group.
