A Norwegian without boundaries - New Keep Living ambassador
He lost both his arms in a high voltage accident in 1973 which caused extreme changes in his life. Despite his disability he has been able to make an enviable business carrier, won 14 Paralympics medals, reached the South Pole on skis and climbed some of the highest mountains of Norway. Cato Zahl Pedersen is the name of this inspiring person who has been able to disprove a lot of prejudice regarding what’s possible when you have a serious handicap.
A new personal challenge is up. The sixth highest mountain in the world, Cho Oyu in Himalaya at 8.201 m. above sea level, is the next extreme project. The objective for Cato Zahl and “Cho Oyu Unarmed Expedition” is to try to reach the summit between the 7 of September and the 9 of October 2005. Cato Zahl has brought along a team of 6 climbers to help him in those situations where his disability limits his performance. On the other hand he compensates for his lack of physic with his mentality and the belief that nothing is impossible.
Cato Zahl Pedersen personifies, with his no-limits attitude, the philosophy which permeates the products of
Pressalit Care
. Therefore we are happy and proud to present Cato Zahl as the Norwegian “Keep Living” – ambassador.
Pressalit Group’s
sponsor agreement
